Anne M. Tompkins

Anne M. Tompkins is a partner in the White Collar Defense and Investigations Group at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP, where responsibility has been held since March 2015. Prior to this position, Anne served as the United States Attorney for the Western District of North Carolina from March 2010 to March 2015, overseeing significant investigations, including cases of public corruption and national security. Anne's career also includes roles as a partner at Alston & Bird LLP and as an Assistant United States Attorney and Assistant District Attorney in North Carolina. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a BA in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, along with ongoing studies in the Master of Public Administration program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
