Lawrence Brandman

Lawrence Brandman is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law and bankruptcy advisory. Currently, Lawrence serves as a Partner at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP, a position held since January 2021. Prior to this role, Lawrence was a Partner at Boies Schiller Flexner LLP for six months in 2020. Lawrence's career includes significant positions at Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. as Managing Director and Head of Bankruptcy Strategic Advisory, Derivatives from 2009 to 2019, and at Goldman Sachs as Managing Director from 2000 to 2009. Lawrence began the professional journey at Credit Suisse First Boston as Director of Legal and Compliance and started in the legal field as an Associate at Shearman & Sterling LLP. Academically, Lawrence graduated magna cum laude with an A.B. in Government from Harvard University and obtained a law degree from Cornell Law.
