Eric Lapierre Eng. has a diverse work experience. Eric started their career at CAE in 2016 and held various roles within the company. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Technical Mechanical Professional, providing support and improvement for aircraft simulators. In 2017, they became the Engineering Team Lead, managing priorities and personal development within the Andon mechanical and electrical engineering group. Then, in 2018, they were promoted to Hardware Development Lead, taking responsibility for prototype designs, product customizations, and overall project delivery. In 2021, Eric co-founded Limestone Software, where they contributed to the company until 2023. Prior to CAE, Eric worked at Zodiac Aerospace as a Flammability Analyst, analyzing technical specifications and designs for aircraft cabinets. Eric also briefly worked as a Project Coordinator at the City of Kirkland in 2013.
Eric Lapierre Eng. has a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University, which they obtained between 2009 and 2014. Eric also holds a Certificate in Computers & Information Technology from McGill University, completed from 2019 to 2021. Prior to their Bachelor's Degree, they obtained a DEC in Science from CEGEP - John Abbott College between 2007 and 2009. Additionally, they are certified as an Engineer by the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
