Michael Thompson is a highly experienced security professional with over 35 years in the industry. Currently serving as a Senior Security Architect at CAE since May 2009, Michael has focused on integrating security throughout the Engineering Life Cycle, conducting thorough analyses, and developing comprehensive policies for Certification and Accreditation activities. Prior roles include Senior Security Consultant at Bell Aliant, where Michael executed extensive security assessments and application security reviews, and Senior Architect at SolutionInc, credited as an inventor for a globally deployed hospitality provisioning solution. Michael’s foundational experience includes software and network specialization roles at Software Kinetics Ltd. and Iotek Inc., as well as system administration at Dalhousie University, alongside a Bachelor of Science degree in Computing Science from Dalhousie University.
