Michel Azar-Hmouda

Michel Azar-Hmouda has extensive work experience at CAE, a leading aviation training company. Michel began their career at CAE in 1997 as a Flight Simulator Engineer and held various roles within the organization over the years. These roles include Supervisor Engineering & Maintenance, Technical Manager, Center Manager, and Director of Global Operations. In 2015, they became the Business Leader for Commercial Aviation Training in the Americas region. In 2018, they were promoted to Vice President of the Americas region, overseeing Commercial Aviation Training and Flight Training Organizations. From 2020 to 2023, they served as Vice President of Global - Commercial Aviation Training and Flight Training Organizations. Currently, Michel Azar-Hmouda holds the position of Division President for Commercial Aviation at CAE.

Michel Azar-Hmouda completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering at McGill University from 1993 to 1997. Prior to that, they attended Collège Stanislas from 1990 to 1993, where they pursued the Série S (scientifique) program. Later, from 2015 to 2017, they attended Southern Methodist University - Cox School of Business for an Executive MBA degree.
