Pedram Hooshangi-Tabrizi

Pedram Hooshangi-Tabrizi has extensive work experience in operations research and analysis. Pedram currently holds the position of Principal Operations Research Engineer at CAE since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Operations Research Specialist and later as an Operations Research Specialist at UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) from November 2020 to April 2022. From June 2020 to November 2020, they served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at CIRRELT. Pedram also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Concordia University from January 2016 to May 2020. Pedram gained experience in healthcare systems and operations research analysis as a Healthcare Systems and Operations Research Analyst at Segal Cancer Centre from January 2017 to September 2019. Before that, they held positions as a Systems Analyst at Tetra Company from February 2014 to October 2015 and as an Operations Research Analyst at Niroo Research Institute from June 2013 to January 2014.

Pedram Hooshangi-Tabrizi completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Industrial Engineering at Concordia University from 2016 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained their Master of Science (MSc) in Industrial Engineering & Management Systems from Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic between 2010 and 2013. Pedram also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Industrial Engineering & Management Systems from the same institution, which they received from 2006 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, Pedram has obtained several certifications in fields such as accelerated computing, deep learning, and machine learning, among others.
