Scott Herron

Scott Herron is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in desktop management, virtualization infrastructures, and technical support. Currently serving as the Technical Delivery Lead at CAE since February 2023, Scott previously held the role of Lead, Office Technology Management at Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec from March 2019 to February 2023. Scott's earlier positions include Expert in Office and Virtualization Infrastructures at Transat, where responsibilities included designing and implementing Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (Citrix/Nutanix), and Manager of Systems & Support, overseeing desktop support for thousands of machines across multiple locations. Scott's career also includes managerial roles at Signature Vacations and Bell Helicopter, and foundational work as a Technical Support Analyst at ELRAN Furniture. Scott holds a DEC in Computer Science from John Abbott College, earned between 1991 and 1994.
