Pete Edwards

Pete Edwards is a highly experienced systems engineer with a strong background in smart ticketing projects and systems engineering management. Currently serving as Principal Systems Engineer at Rail Delivery Group since June 2021, Pete oversees engineering resources, manages project documentation, and ensures compliance with industry standards while fostering stakeholder relationships. Previously at Cubic Transportation Systems from July 2012 to June 2021, Pete advanced from Systems Engineer to Senior Systems Engineer, actively supporting smartcard project delivery in the UK. Early career roles include ICT Technician at St Francis Of Assisi Primary School and IT Consultant at KOGO Business IT Solutions. Pete holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Information Systems from the University of Brighton.
