Michael Suppa

Michael Suppa has extensive experience in education and grant services, currently serving as an Officer in Grant Services at CAF America since June 2022. In this role, Michael applies expertise in US and international grant-making regulations to conduct risk assessments and develop training for expenditure responsibility and the grant-making cycle. Prior to this position, Michael worked as a Curriculum & Instructional Specialist for Alexandria City Public Schools, where responsibilities included developing curricula for diverse audiences and evaluating educational practices. Michael's earlier roles include serving as a Reading/ELA Interventionist at DC Prep, where a significant portion of students demonstrated academic growth, and as a Science Department Chair for Prince George's County Public Schools, focusing on mentoring and resource coordination. Michael holds two Master's degrees in Education from the University of Virginia and George Mason University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Point Park University.
