Angie Palacios Coello is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in gender and transport initiatives, currently serving as Principal Executive for Gender and Transport at CAF - banco de desarrollo de América Latina since November 2012. In this role, Angie coordinates research and pilot programs, manages projects focused on gender mainstreaming in transport, and fosters collaboration between transport and gender sectors. Angie also engages with partners to promote women's involvement in urban mobility and leads communication efforts related to gender aspects of mobility. Angie has previously held roles in public and private sector finance, strategic planning, and teaching assistance, and has contributed to initiatives at organizations such as Equality Now and MITx on edX. Angie holds a Master’s Degree in Economic and Political Development from Columbia University and is experienced in monitoring and evaluation systems, strategic consulting, and project management.
