Hely Olivares

Hely Olivares is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in regional integration and political analysis. Currently serving as Principal Executive for Regional Integration at CAF - banco de desarrollo de América Latina since September 2012, Hely previously held the position of Political Specialist at the Organización de los Estados Americanos from February 2009 to July 2010 and worked as a Political Analyst at the Embassy of Venezuela from February 2006 to February 2009. Early career included a role as a Specialist at Indra from 2004 to December 2005. Hely holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy in Business and Government from Harvard Kennedy School (2010-2012) and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Latin American Studies from The University of Texas at Austin (2000-2003).
