María Fernanda Arciniegas is a seasoned policy consultant specializing in artificial intelligence and digital development, currently employed at CAF - banco de desarrollo de América Latina y el Caribe since October 2022, where a structured methodology for AI public policies in Latin America and the Caribbean has been developed. Previous experience includes roles as a Policy and Legal Advisor at Departamento Nacional de Planeación, where leadership in drafting the 2022-2026 National Development Plan was demonstrated, and as an Independent Consultant focusing on competition and ICTs. María has a Master's degree in Public Policy from the University of Oxford, alongside extensive teaching experience in Competition Law at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, contributing to policy reports and regulatory frameworks throughout a diverse career across various sectors.
