Stephen Baird is an experienced financial professional with a strong background in financial management and analysis. Stephen started their career with Textron as an Accounting Manager, where they were responsible for financial consolidation and cost accounting. Stephen then moved to M/A-COM, Inc. as a Corporate Accounting Manager, overseeing financial oversight and compliance for a multinational electronics manufacturer. Baird then joined AgaMatrix, Inc. as a Corporate Controller, where they built a strong financial team and implemented internal control processes for a medical device start-up. After that, they worked at Polartec as a Global Controller, managing audits, financial analysis, and operational improvements for a venture-backed worldwide company. Currently, Baird serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Cafe Services Inc., where they provide strategic leadership and financial management for the company's three divisions operating in multiple states. Overall, Baird has a proven track record of successfully managing financial operations and driving profitability in various industries.
Stephen Baird attended the UNH Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics from 1989 to 1993, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations. Stephen then pursued an MBA at Southern New Hampshire University from 1997 to 2001. In addition, Stephen earned another Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of New Hampshire during their enrollment from 1989 to 1993.
Stephen Baird also holds several professional certifications. Stephen obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the State of New Hampshire in June 2020. In November 1996, they received the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. Additionally, Stephen acquired the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification from the IMA | Institute of Management Accountants in October 1996.
