Gareth Smith

Gareth Smith has an extensive work experience in various roles within the software industry. Gareth started their career as a Junior Software Developer at Transworld Racing Ltd. in 2005, where they gained experience in Java and JSP development. In 2006, they joined Certus Technology Associates Limited as a Software Developer, working in a team and handling multiple projects simultaneously. During their time there, they honed their skills in agile methodologies, project analysis, design, development, and maintenance. Gareth also developed systems utilizing semantic web technologies. In 2008, Gareth became a Senior Software Engineer at TrackMate, where they worked until 2011. During their tenure, they contributed as a lead developer and gained experience in various software engineering tasks. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Software Engineer at ThruPoint, working on projects of varying sizes and taking on different roles within teams. In 2013, Gareth joined CafeX Communications and held several positions, including Software Engineer, Manager of Strategic Engineering, Director of Product Development, and currently, SVP of Engineering. Throughout their career, Gareth has shown expertise in team management, code review, troubleshooting, and customer interaction.

Gareth Smith attended the University of Exeter from 2002 to 2005, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Computer Science.
