John Virden

John Virden has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. John started their career as the President of Newport Youth Soccer Club in 1988, where they were responsible for coach training and education. From 1994 to 1996, they served as the President of the Eastside Youth Soccer Association, overseeing premier-level soccer programs for over 8,000 kids.

In 1996, John joined Java City as the Director of Customer Service, managing their call center and key coffee accounts. John then moved on to become the Vice President of Operations for Amenity Services Inc, where they led day-to-day operations and managed multiple distribution locations.

Starting in 2000, John took on the role of Branch Manager at First Choice Coffee Service, where they partnered with major coffee roasters and managed the Seattle branch for over a decade. In 2014, they joined Caffé D'arte as the Vice President of Operations, overseeing green coffee management, product quality, fulfillment, and distribution across five locations. John also directed the office coffee division, working with OCS partners.

Throughout their career, John has gained extensive experience in coffee operations, sales, customer service, and team management.

John Virden attended the University of Washington from 2000 to 2001, where they studied Psychology. Prior to that, they attended Bellevue College from 1990 to 1991 and earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree in Psychology and Management. John also attended Bellevue College from 1987 to 1990 and obtained an AS degree in Business Administration.
