Dean Barnes

Dean Barnes has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Dean began their career as a Scuba Instructor and Bartender at Club Med from 1988 to 1995. Dean then worked as a Dive/Adventure Excursions Manager at Norwegian Cruise Line from 1996 to 2002, where they were responsible for promoting and leading excursions while ensuring passenger safety.

In 2002, Dean became the Owner/Operator of Bean Around the World - B-Side Bakery Cafe until 2008. During this time, they managed daily operations and provided excellent customer service.

From 2004 to 2008, Dean served as the Operations Manager/Academy Instructor at Sensor Protection Group Ltd, specializing in security for entertainment, bars, and special events. In this role, they secured new contracts, oversaw security training and staffing, and acted as a supervisor for various high-profile projects and events, including the 2010 Olympics.

Dean joined Online Trading Academy in 2011 as a Workshop Presenter. Dean educated traders and investors on various financial instruments and strategies, including stocks, options, futures, and currencies. Dean stayed with the company until 2020.

Alongside their position at Online Trading Academy, Dean worked as a Private Consultant in the Food and Beverage industry from 2011 to the present. Dean has supported clients in various areas, including equipment selection, staff hiring and training, and account management.

Most recently, Dean became the Co-Owner/Operator of 3DMedia.ca in 2020. This company was established during the COVID-19 crisis to assist businesses in Vancouver with their production needs at an affordable cost.

Dean's work experience demonstrates their versatility, strong leadership skills, and ability to adapt to different industries and roles.

Dean Barnes graduated from Kalani High School in Honolulu, Hawaii with a High School Diploma. Dean then attended the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT), where they studied Photography. After that, they completed the PADI Professional Dive Course, earning multiple certificates in areas such as Rescue Diver, Divemaster, Scuba Instruction, Equipment Repair, and Medic First Aid Instruction.

Later, Dean attended Southern Arkansas University Tech, where they focused on Fire Science and Firefighting. Dean also obtained a BST 1&2 Instructor Certificate from the Justice Institute of British Columbia in the field of Security and Loss Prevention.

In 2011, Dean enrolled in the Online Trading Academy in Vancouver, where they studied Trading Stocks, Options, Futures, and Currencies.
