Varun Gupta

Varun Gupta began their career in 2015 working as a Software Engineer at Wealthfront Inc. Varun then moved to Stanford University in 2016, where they took on the role of Teaching. In the same year, they also became a Software Engineer at Expanse. In 2017, Varun joined Affirm, Inc. as a Data Science/Machine Learning professional, where they were responsible for a variety of tasks, including shipping a credit line underwriting system and increasing ROA on loans. In 2019, Varun took a sabbatical. In 2020, they became a Partner at Caffeinated Capital, and in 2022, they were appointed Board Director at Ganymede.

Varun Gupta has a Master's Degree in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence) from Stanford University School of Engineering, a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematical and Computational Science and International Security Studies (Honors) from Stanford University, and was a Visiting Student at Magdalen College during Trinity Term 2015 at the University of Oxford.
