Shattuck Groome has a diverse work experience in the media and marketing industry. Shattuck founded NitroCagePoint in 2016 and served as the Chief Media Officer. Prior to that, they were the Owner and Managing Partner at Generator Media + Analytics from 2007 to 2017. Shattuck also worked at eDiets.com as the Head of Marketing from 2004 to 2007, where they played a key role in the company's acquisition and NASDAQ IPO. Before that, they had brand marketing roles at NBTY and RJ Reynolds from 2000 to 2004 and 2002 to 2004 respectively. Their career in brand marketing started in 1995 with various CPG Fortune 500 companies, where they worked until 2000.

Shattuck Groome pursued their higher education beginning in 1991 at Tulane University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in English and Political Science in 1995. Afterward, they went on to attend Washington University in St. Louis - Olin Business School, where they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Marketing and Finance during the years 1998 to 2000.
