JohnQueta Bailey, MPA, currently serves as the Community Development Coordinator for Jefferson County at Cahaba Medical Care since June 2018. Previously, Bailey worked at the Community Foundation of Greater Birmingham from September 2007 to May 2018, holding various roles including Program Associate (Outreach), where responsibilities included implementing and reporting on the community Outreach Plan, leading Early Learning grant making, and participating in community initiatives. Earlier experience includes positions at the Greater Alabama Council, where Bailey served as Program Administrative Assistant, Grants Administrator, and Program Assistant from January 2005 to August 2007. JohnQueta Bailey earned a Master of Public Administration from Kaplan University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Miles College.

We are a local community-based health organization that aims to be an incarnation of love, peace and justice by guiding our patients through their journey toward physical, mental and social well-being, and to be a center for transformational medical education and primary care training in a rural and international context, modeling and exhorting the next generation of medical professionals in a career of excellence, conscientiousness and compassion. Our mission statement flows from our affirmation that our purpose is to love God and show His glory by walking in the steps of Jesus and ministering the love of Christ. Cahaba Medical Care is a Community Health Center (FQHC), accredited as a Patient-centered Medical Home (PCMH) by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) and Joint Commission. We currently have ten sites in Central Alabama serving Bibb, Perry, Chilton, Dallas, Autauga and Jefferson Counties. Our health centers provide comprehensive primary care services, including treatment and management of chronic and acute diseases; preventative care and cancer screenings; pediatric care; women’s health services; prenatal care and obstetrics; dermatological services; geriatrics; sports medicine services; mental healthcare; dental services and much more. Cahaba Medical Care provides high-quality health services regardless of a patient’s ability to pay by offering a discounted, sliding fee schedule based on income and family size. While this has been the mission of the clinic since its founding, our capabilities have continued to develop and grow through our designation as a nonprofit, Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). As an FQHC, we are stewards of annual federal funding that allows us to enhance our services to those without insurance and to those facing hardship - whether medical, social, financial or emotional.
