Pisie Hochheim

Pisie Hochheim has had various work experiences since 2006, starting with a volunteer role at Planned Parenthood Federation of America. Pisie has also worked as an intern at Human Rights Commission Schenectady, NY, where they researched new curricula for study circles, wrote a reentry guide for formerly incarcerated individuals, and attended conferences and interviews for service providers. In 2008, Pisie worked at the Human Rights Project as an employee. In 2009, they worked as an employee at Bard Prison Initiative and also as an intern at the Schenectady Human Rights Commission. In 2010, Pisie started their own cleaning and organizing business, Breeze Cleaning and Organizing, and also worked as an employee in a summer position. In 2012, they worked as an intern at Merck Family Fund before taking up the role of development assistant at Community Resource Exchange in 2013, which they held until 2015. Pisie'smost recent work experience was at Cahill Bros Inc. in 2015, where they worked as a production assistant and assistant editor to help with commercials' pre-and post-production, including technical issues solving and media management. In 2016, Pisie was self-employed, working for Same Person Productions, LLC.

Pisie Hochheim received a Bachelor's degree in Human Rights and Gender and Sexuality Studies from Bard College in 2012. During their time at Bard College, they also studied Gender and Development at Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar, Senegal in 2010. In 2016, Pisie attended The Edit Center where they obtained a Certificate in Film editing. Prior to attending Bard College and obtaining their degree, Pisie attended Schenectady High School.
