Colin Michels

Colin Michels, PMP, has a diverse professional background with experience in engineering and volunteer service. Currently serving as a Validation Engineer at CAI since April 2019, Colin previously held the position of Materials Process Engineer at Huntington Ingalls Industries, Inc. from November 2016 to February 2019. Colin's commitment to community service is evident through extensive involvement as a firefighter and water rescuer with the Chicamacomico Volunteer Fire Department from May 2013 to September 2018. Additional experience includes roles at Hatteras Recycle and Atlantic Coast Cafe, as well as a significant summer internship at Milliken & Company that resulted in substantial cost savings for the organization. Colin earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State University, completing the degree in 2015.
