Cory Berner

Validation Engineer at CAI

Cory Berner has a diverse range of work experience in various sectors. Starting in 2011, they worked as a Summer Research Intern at the National Institutes of Health, where they gained experience in agar plate preparation, autoclaving, and laser scanning microscope use. They also contributed to a publication in Nature Communications. In 2014, Cory worked as a Mitigation Technician at Professional Restoration and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Colorado Boulder, where they performed protein interaction characterization measurements and produced protocols for sample preparation. In 2015, they worked as a Laboratory Technician at Precision Bioservices, specializing in biological sample storage and handling, inventory management, and data entry. They then joined GSK as a QC Associate Biochemist, focusing on quality control processes. In 2017, Cory worked as a Contract Engineer at Hyde Engineering + Consulting and later as a Manufacturing Associate at KBI Biopharma. They are currently employed as a Validation Engineer at CAI.

Cory Berner attended the University of Colorado Boulder from 2011 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering.
