Sam Bellar

Sam Bellar, MBA, has a diverse and extensive work experience in Information Technology and Business Systems. Starting their career as a Nuclear Electrician in the US Navy, they later transitioned into roles such as Lead North America Pi Engineer and Lead US SCADA Administrator at Brookfield Renewable. Sam has also held positions at Boston College, Boston University, Meteor Learning, and the College of the Holy Cross before becoming the Director of Information Technology at CAIA Association. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated their ability to lead IT teams, manage complex projects, streamline processes, and improve operational efficiency.

Sam Bellar holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from Boston College, which they obtained between 2012 and 2015. Prior to that, they completed Nuclear Electrical Engineer training at Nuclear Power School - Naval Nuclear Power Training Command (NNPTC) in 2008. In 2021, they graduated with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from Boston College Carroll School of Management. Sam also has additional certifications in Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, Lean Six Sigma White Belt, and ITIL Foundations.
