I'm Jaime Reed. I built my first website in 1994, when most people weren't sure the internet was going to be a real thing. I've spent the years since running and building businesses across early web, medical distribution, medical device manufacturing, and eCommerce.

In 2026 I started Caidance because the wave I'm watching now feels exactly like 1995 again — only this time it's AI. Small business owners keep asking the same question: "Is this AI thing going to help me or hurt me?" — and they can't get a straight answer they can trust.

Caidance is that answer, systematized. A 0–60 readiness score (the CDI), a 10-fix toolkit per industry, an AI advisor that knows your business, and weekly monitoring — built for the operator audience, not the enterprise audience.

If you run a small business and want to know where you stand: caidance.ai/assessment. If you're an agency or consultant working with SMB clients: caidance.ai/for-agencies.
