Domitille Schanne

Domitille Schanne has a diverse work experience spanning from 2016 to 2022. In 2016, they completed a research internship at the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Light. In 2017, they completed an internship at Thales LAS. In 2018, they completed a research internship at Imperial College London and was also a PhD student in Physics at the University of Paris in the “Matériaux et Phénomènes Quantiques” Laboratory. Her PhD topic was on the spontaneous emission of complex forms of light, and their duties included cleanroom nanofabrication, optical and electrical characterization, analytical modelling and numerical simulations, data processing and analysis. Domitille also served as a teaching assistant at the University of Paris. In 2022, they began working as a Technical Project Manager at Cailabs.

Domitille Schanne began their education at Lycée Blasie Pacal, Orsay, where they studied Mathematics, Physics, and Engineering from 2013 to 2015. Domitille then continued their studies at Institut d'Optique Graduate School, where they earned an Engineering Degree in Optics from 2015 to 2018. Finally, they completed a Master of Science in Physics with Nanophotonics at Imperial College London from 2017 to 2018.
