Mallory Rukhsana Nezam

Mallory Rukhsana Nezam is a co-founder of CAIR Lab, which supports artists in residence in government through public speaking, research, and program development, collaborating with communities and government entities. Nezam serves as the Curator of Partnerships & Programming for FORWARD at Forecast Public Art, focusing on artist-community collaborations to address societal issues. As the founder and principal of Justice + Joy, a consulting team, Nezam works with various clients to promote creative solutions for equitable communities. Nezam is a steering committee member for Planning for Health Equity, Advocacy, and Leadership, a transdisciplinary initiative established to respond to pandemic-related challenges. Recent roles also include Senior Cultural Policy Fellow at the National Assembly of State Arts Agencies, 2020 Transnational Fellow with Monument Lab, lecturer at Stanford's d.school, and Practices for Change Fellow at Arizona State University. Nezam holds a Master's degree from Harvard University Graduate School of Design and a Bachelor of Arts from Occidental College.
