Zahra Billoo

Zahra Billoo has held various roles throughout their work experience. Zahra served as the Executive Director of the CAIR-SFBA Office at CAIR-CA starting from August 2009. Additionally, they co-founded Project Feed in September 2008 and remained in that role until September 2022. Zahra was a Board Member of the South Asian Bar Association - Northern California from June 2012 to June 2014 and a Board Member of the National Lawyers Guild from 2012 to 2013. Zahra advised the Muslim Student Association West (MSA West) from 2005 until August 2010. Zahra also volunteered at the Legal Aid Society - Employment Law Center in early 2008, worked as a Law Clerk at Bay Area Legal Aid in 2007, and served as a Field Organizer at SEIU in 2006. Furthermore, they held the position of Multicultural Caucus Speaker at the California State Student Association from 2005 to 2006.

Zahra Billoo completed their Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings) from 2006 to 2009. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Long Beach State University between 2001 and 2006.
