David Cargill Fcih

David Cargill FCIH has significant work experience in the housing sector. David worked at Cairn Housing Association from 2010 to present, starting as a Maintenance Officer before progressing to roles such as Maintenance Manager and Responsive Repairs Coordinator. In their current role as Regional Lead, they oversee the operations of the Customer Services team and is responsible for tenancy management, income management, and customer service. Additionally, David has served as a Board Member for Scotland's Housing Network since 2022. David has also held positions as a Board Member for Albyn Housing Society Ltd. from 2021 to 2023 and as a Non Executive Director/Chairman for Highland Residential, a subsidiary of Albyn Housing Society.

David Cargill FCIH has a comprehensive education history in the field of housing and construction. David obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Housing Studies from the University of Stirling from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they pursued the CIH Level 4 Diploma in Housing Practice (QCF) from Dundee and Angus College in 2014 to 2015, and the CIH Level 4 Certificate in Housing Practice (QCF) from the same college from 2013 to 2014.

In terms of construction engineering, David earned a Higher National Certificate in Quantity Surveying from UHI in 2007 to 2008. David also holds a Higher National Certificate in Construction Management from UHI, which was obtained from 2005 to 2007. Additionally, they acquired a National Certificate in Building Engineering from UHI between 2003 and 2005.

Furthermore, David Cargill FCIH obtained the certification of Chartered Institute of Housing Fellow from CIH Scotland in August 2022.
