Kathryn von Treuer

Kathryn von Treuer is the CEO and Provost of The Cairnmillar Institute, a position held since April 2016, where Kathryn has driven innovative research and evidence-based practices to enhance the capabilities of mental health professionals. Concurrently, Kathryn serves as a Board Member for both the National Psychology Board of Australia and the Independent Tertiary Education Council Australia. From January 2006 to February 2016, Kathryn was an Associate Professor at Deakin University, focusing on educating future professionals in human behavior and its societal impacts. Educational credentials include a Doctorate of Business Administration from Swinburne University of Technology, a Graduate Certificate in Higher Education from Deakin University, a Master of Behavioural Science in Psychology, and a Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Honours) in Psychology from La Trobe University, along with a Diploma of Applied Science in Nursing from RMIT University.
