Jodie Bond Ploetz

Jodie Bond Ploetz has over 25 years of experience in clinical operations and research. Jodie began their career in 1996 as a Research Coordinator at Methodist Sports Medicine Center, where they designed data collection forms and maintained study databases. In 2001, they became a Clinical Research Coordinator at Marshfield Clinic, where they managed coordination of Phase II-IV clinical drug trials. From 2005 to 2012, they worked at AGA Medical in various roles, including Senior Clinical Research Associate, Clinical Research Associate III, and Clinical Research Associate (Monitor). From 2012 to 2015, they worked as a Clinical Project Manager/Principal Clinical Research Specialist and Clinical Project Manager/Senior Clinical Research Specialist at Medtronic. In 2021, they joined Abiomed as a Senior Clinical Program Manager. Most recently, they were appointed Senior Director Clinical Operations at CairnSurgical, Inc. in 2022.

Jodie Bond Ploetz obtained a Bachelor's degree, magna cum laude, from The University of New Mexico. Jodie then attended St. Cloud State University for International Regulatory Affairs: EU, Eastern Europe, Canada, Australia. Afterwards, they earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Organizational Leadership, Healthcare concentration from Saint Catherine University between 2010 and 2013. Additionally, Jodie Bond Ploetz holds three certifications: Certified Clinical Research Associate, Certified Clinical Research Coordinator, and Certified Professional Project Manager from the Association of Clinical Research Professionals and University of St. Thomas, respectively.
