Rami Maayah has a strong background in the IT industry, with over 20 years of experience. Rami currently holds the role of CTO - Chief Technology Officer at Cairo Amman Bank, where they are responsible for overseeing the bank's technology operations. Prior to that, they worked as the Head of Information Technology at the same bank.
Before joining Cairo Amman Bank, Rami worked as a freelance IT professional from August 2020 to January 2021. Prior to that, they served as the CIO & Technology Consultant at Trade Bank of Iraq, where they developed goals and strategies for the IT department and led the implementation of new systems and projects.
Rami also held the position of Group Director of IT at Capital Bank of Jordan, where they oversaw the IT department operations and supervised a team of over 50 staff members. Rami was responsible for developing and implementing the IT strategy aligned with the company's overall strategy.
Earlier in their career, Rami worked at National Bank of Abu Dhabi as the CIO and Head of Premises Management, where they supervised the development and maintenance of technical banking systems and managed all affairs for the Jordan Branch.
Rami's IT journey began at HSBC, where they worked as a Senior PC Support Officer. Rami started their career as a Computer Engineer at Advanced Digital Systems Co.
Overall, Rami Maayah has a wealth of experience in IT leadership and has successfully implemented various technology strategies and projects throughout their career.
From 1995 to 2000, Rami Maayah attended Jordan University of Science and Technology, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering.
