Juan-Pablo Bartra has worked in various roles since 2007. From 2007 to 2008, they worked as a Trainee in the Logistics Department at Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB). Here, they supported companies' purchasing managers and participated in the purchasing documentation process. From 2008 to 2009, they worked as an Audit Staff at Faura-Casas, Auditors-Consultors, SL, where they performed compliance and substantive tests within the audit process, as well as payroll, debtors & creditors, and bank statement reviews. From 2009 to 2011, they worked at De'Longhi as an Assistant Controller and Accounts Payable, where they reported directly to the business Controller and CFO and supported the business Controller on the Monthly and Quarterly reporting to HQ. From 2011 to 2016, they worked at GE Capital as a USGAAP Lead Controller and USGAAP Assistant Controller, where they reviewed monthly figures with the FP&A team and coordinated and managed US GAAP Reserves with the Risk Team. Since 2016, they have been working at Caixa Capital Risc as a Life Science Finance Operations Analyst and Finance Operations Analyst, actively participating in Therapeutics investments for follow-ons and exits, and supporting industry specialists in the identification and financial analysis of business opportunities.

Juan-Pablo Bartra has a long and varied educational background. Juan-Pablo attended San Antonio de Padua from 1991 to 2002 and then went on to earn an Economics degree from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona from 2003 to 2008. Juan-Pablo then obtained an Official Accounts Auditors (Registro Oficial de Auditores de Cuentas) from the Association of Chartered Accountants of Catalonia (Col·legi Censors Jurats de Comptes de Catalunya) from 2008 to 2009. In 2016, they earned a Master's degree in Financial Markets from Universitat de Barcelona and also passed the CFA Level 1 from the CFA Institute. In 2019, they received an Executive Masters in Finance from Esade and a Diploma of Education from NYU Stern School of Business. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from Udemy and the University of Cambridge.
