Nuno Rego

Nuno Rego has extensive experience in database administration, currently serving as a Senior DBA at CGD since January 2024. Previously, Nuno held similar Senior DBA positions at Portugal Telecom from July 2020 to December 2023, Gfi World from June 2019 to June 2020, and Fidelidade from June 2017 to February 2019. Nuno's career began at Sybase PT from 2000 to 2005, followed by a role as SQL Server DBA at IBM Portugal for a year. Nuno also worked as an Application DBA at InnoWave Technologies in 2015 and held multiple DBA positions at CGD from 2006 to 2014, focusing on various database technologies including Sybase, SQL Server, and DB2. Nuno holds a Licentiate degree in Engenharia Informática from Universidade de Coimbra and a Bachelor's degree in Engenharia Informática e Sistemas from Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Coimbra.
