João Barroso

João Barroso is an experienced Cloud Automation Engineer currently working at Caixa Mágica Software since June 2023, following a role as Infrastructure Support Specialist I at FDS, a DXC Technology Company, from May 2021 to September 2023, where responsibilities included automating infrastructure deployment using Terraform and managing AWS migration projects. Prior to these roles, João accumulated extensive experience in the diving industry in various capacities, including Base Leader and Dive Boss at Dressel Divers International, where responsibilities included overseeing center activities, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. João's earlier roles also include positions as a Scuba Diving Instructor and Sales Representative. Educationally, João studied Marine Biology at Universidade do Algarve and completed a Cloud upskilling program at Iscte - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa.
