Thuc Nghi Nguyen has been working in the field of neuroscience since 2010. Thuc Nghi began their career at the Allen Institute as a Principal Research Associate, where they were part of interdisciplinary teams working towards classification of cell types in the mouse brain using single cell transcriptomics and in situ methods for gene expression. Her role was focused on methods development, gene expression analysis, and investigation of new cell types. In 2020, they joined Cajal Neuroscience as a Scientist II.
Thuc Nghi Nguyen attended the University of Washington from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering. Thuc Nghi then attended the University of California, Davis from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering.
