Lina Grigonytė

Lina Grigonytė has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Lina is currently working as a Compliance/AML Manager at Cake DeFi since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Operations Manager at Woolsocks from August 2021 to September 2022, where they implemented process improvements and fostered effective communication within the organization.

Before joining Woolsocks, Lina worked as a Compliance Officer/MLRO at UAB Bourgeois Bohème Fintech from May 2020 to August 2021. In this role, they were responsible for implementing and managing AML/CTF compliance processes, as well as ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Lina's previous experience includes working at Western Union, where they held various roles. Lina served as a Lead Analyst, Global Product Compliance from August 2018 to May 2020, where they provided guidance and requirements for the launch of new products globally. Lina also worked as a KYC Team Leader, Financial Crimes Compliance Operations (FCCO) from November 2015 to August 2018, managing the daily operations of the KYC team. Additionally, they held the positions of KYC Escalations Team Specialist and KYC Specialist in the same department.

Lina's earliest work experience was as a Norwegian language lecturer at the American English School from April 2012 to December 2013, where they taught graduate groups and individual students.

Lina Grigonytė pursued their Bachelor of International Business and Communication degree from 2011 to 2015 at the ISM University of Management and Economics. The specific field of study during their undergraduate education is unspecified.
