Mandi Tan Munlin

Mandi Tan Munlin has a solid background in legal counsel and compliance. Mandi currently holds the role of Legal Counsel at Cake DeFi, specializing in Crypto, Decentralized Finance, and Blockchain. Previously, they worked as a Compliance Counsel at Azimut Investment Management Singapore Ltd, where they provided legal and regulatory advice, conducted due diligence checks, and monitored and filed MAS Circulars. Prior to that, they served as a Legal Counsel at Capital Dynamics, providing legal and regulatory advice to fund management companies across the APAC region. Mandi also gained experience as a Legal Associate at Tan Chin Hoe & Co, handling litigation matters, and as a Legal Executive and Practice Trainee at East Asia Law Corporation, where they drafted various agreements and assisted in criminal cases. Overall, Mandi has a diverse range of experiences in different legal roles across various industries.

Mandi Tan Munlin completed their Bachelor's Degree in Law from Singapore Management University, from the year 2013 to 2017. Mandi then pursued Part B of the Singapore Bar Examinations at Singapore Institute of Legal Education in 2017. Prior to attending university, Mandi studied at Anderson Junior College from 2010 to 2012 and CHIJ St. Nicholas Girls' School from 2007 to 2010, although no specific degree or field of study is provided for these institutions.

In addition to their educational qualifications, Mandi has obtained additional certifications including the Practitioner Certificate in Personal Data Protection (Singapore) in August 2021 from Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) and the Advocate and Solicitor certification in August 2018 from The Supreme Court of the Republic of Singapore.
