Ping Lai Tan

Ping Lai Tan is an experienced finance professional with a diverse background in various industries. They began their career as an Accounts Assistant at ifm electronic Pte Ltd in 2009 before moving on to Ernst & Young LLP (Singapore) as an Audit Senior in 2009. In 2012, they joined Williams-Sonoma Singapore Pte Ltd as an Assistant Accounting Manager, where they were responsible for a wide range of financial tasks, including month-end closing, financial analysis, and audit report preparation. They also played a key role in setting up internal control frameworks and improving franchise relationships. After leaving Williams-Sonoma, Ping Lai Tan worked as an RTR Specialist at Philips Lighting Singapore Pte Ltd from 2016 to 2018. Then, from 2018 to 2021, they served as a Finance Manager at Bitmain, overseeing financial operations and managing accounting functions. In 2021, they held the position of Senior Finance Manager at Bybit before joining Cake DeFi as the Chief Financial Officer in the same year.
