Cal Performances
Jo Vincent Parks is a baritone with extensive experience in both performance and technical roles within the opera community. Currently serving as Senior Video Engineer at Cal Performances since September 2014, Parks has also established a significant career as a professional opera singer since August 2009, taking on various roles such as Germont and Leporello in different productions. Notable past performances include Count Almaviva at San Francisco Lyric Opera and contributions as a stagehand and noise maker. Parks holds a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from The Catholic University of America.

Cal Performances
Cal Performances is the performing arts presenting, commissioning and producing organization based at the University of California, Berkeley. The origins of Cal Performances date from 1906, when stage actress Sarah Bernhardt appeared at the William Randolph Hearst Greek Theater to help rebuild public morale after the devastating San Francisco earthquake and fire in April of that year. Over the subsequent century, Cal Performances grew to become the largest, multi-discipline performing arts presenter in Northern California, and one of the largest university-based arts presenters in the United States. The mission of Cal Performances is to produce and present performances of the highest artistic quality, enhanced by programs that explore compelling intersections of education and the performing arts.
