Danny Amaya

Danny Amaya has a diverse work experience in the field of design, with a focus on renewable energy. Danny is currently working as a Senior Design Engineer at Cal Solar Inc., where they are responsible for designing solar integrations. Prior to that, they worked at Shorebreak Energy Developers as a PV Design Engineer, where they were in charge of initial schematic drawings and preliminary designs of various projects. Before that, they were a CAD Consultant at Menemsha Solutions and a PV Solar Designer at Solar Universe, where they developed detailed AutoCAD drawings and designed residential PV solar electrical systems. Danny also worked as a Design Drafter at AeroVironment, collaborating with engineers and project managers to design electric vehicle charging stations. Additionally, they gained experience as a Student CAD worker at USC Facilities Management Services, where they researched and updated construction models to USC BIM standards.

Danny Amaya attended the University of Southern California from 2007 to 2012, where they pursued a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) degree in the field of Architecture.
