Eli Pars

Eli Pars, CFA, is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in convertible arbitrage and portfolio management. Currently serving as Co-Chief Investment Officer, Senior Co-PM, Head of Alternatives, and Co-Head of Convertibles at Calamos Investments since May 2013, Eli has previously held key positions such as Portfolio Manager at Chicago Fundamental Investment Partners, where management of a $600 million convertible arbitrage portfolio was a focus, and President at Mulligan Partners LLC, overseeing a $700 million managed account. Eli's career includes significant roles at Ritchie Capital, SAM Investments/The Hampshire Company, and Calamos Asset Management, with a foundational background at Merrill Lynch, where responsibilities included managing substantial loan commitments. Academically, Eli holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Illinois.
