Jon Vacko

Jon Vacko, CFA has extensive experience in the financial industry, starting from 1992 at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago as an Examiner. Jon then transitioned to Fitch Ratings in 1997 as a Senior Bank Credit Analyst, where they focused on credit ratings for investment-grade and non-investment-grade securities. In 2000, they moved to Calamos Investments as a Senior Sector Analyst, specializing in equity, convertible bond, and high-yield portfolios. Jon later served as a Sr. Portfolio Manager, Senior Vice President at Calamos Investments, overseeing various funds, including long-only convertible bond funds. Jon also held the role of Co-Head of Research and Investments from 2010 to 2013.

Jon Vacko, CFA earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance and Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1992. Jon then went on to obtain a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance from the University of Chicago in 1999.
