Kent Kauss

Kent Kauss is a seasoned professional in external relations with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as the Regional Vice President of External Relations at Sempra Energy since September 2017, Kent previously held various leadership roles at Pacific Gas and Electric Company from June 2000 to September 2017, including Senior Director and Director. Kent's career also includes a directorship at the California Public Utilities Commission from June 1994 to 2000 and a consultancy role with the California State Assembly from February 1990 to June 1994. Kent holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, earned between 1987 and 1991.
