Michael Korpiel

Michael R. Korpiel, DHA, FACHE, serves as President of Mercy San Juan Medical Center and Market President of Dignity Health Sacramento, overseeing multiple healthcare facilities since joining Dignity Health in 2017. Previously, Michael held roles including Interim Healthcare Executive at B.E. Smith and President and COO at St. Vincent’s Health System, where responsibilities expanded to integrate care across several hospitals. With a strong background in healthcare administration, Michael has also been COO at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and Vice President of Operations at Methodist Health System, contributing significantly to operational management and cost reduction initiatives. Michael's educational credentials include a Doctorate in Health Administration from the University of Mississippi and a Master’s in Health Care Administration from Texas Woman's University.
