Paul Allen

Paul Allen is an experienced software engineer, currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Calastone since September 2022. Prior roles include Senior Engineer at Nationwide Building Society and Senior Developer at Centtrip Ltd, where responsibilities included designing a mobile banking application and developing back-end microservices. Additional experience includes positions at Scott Logic, where Paul led a team on C# and MVVM applications, and NOMURA INTERNATIONAL PLC, leading the design of an algorithmic trading system. Early career roles involved architecting intranet technology standards at Merrill Lynch and programming for BT’s call center systems at IPL. Paul holds a Ph.D. in Computational Physics and a degree in Physics with Computing from the University of Warwick.
