Lawrence Waugh

Lawrence Waugh began their professional career in 1988 as a Carrier-based Combat Pilot with Attack Squadron 176 deployed aboard the USS Forrestal (CV-59). In 1994, they took on the role of Technical Solutions Manager with Trilogy Software, followed by Director of Content at pcOrder.com in 1997. In 2000, they became the Director of Technical Integration at Agillion Software, and in 2001 they took on the role of VP of Engineering at Aviri Software. Lawrence also accepted a recall to Active Duty in 2001 to serve as Navy Liaison for NORAD, Continental US Region. Additionally, in 2001 they founded Calavista Software, a company focused on delivering complex custom software solutions to clients.

Lawrence Waugh obtained their Master's degree in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence) from Stanford University, a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace/Astronautic Engineering (Avionics) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor's degree in Humanities (Theater Arts) from the same institution.
