Kara Kuvakas

Kara Kuvakas, Ed.D., currently serves as the Director of Adjunct Academy at Calbright College, where responsibilities include equipping adjunct faculty to deliver high-quality, competency-based education. With extensive experience as an Educational Consultant at K2ED Consulting since 2014, Kara focuses on developing training and professional development for higher education institutions in Southern California. Previous roles include Associate Vice President of Academic Training and Director of Online Teaching and Learning at National University, and various adjunct professor positions at Brandman University, American Public University System, Hartnell College, and Monterey Peninsula College, specializing in subjects such as environmental science, geology, and geography. Kara holds a Doctor of Education degree in Organizational Leadership from Brandman University, a Master of Environmental Science and Management from UC Santa Barbara, and a Bachelor's degree in Geology/Earth Science from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
