Chelsey Benoit is an accomplished accounting and administrative support specialist with diverse experience across multiple sectors. Currently serving as an Accounting Support Specialist and previously as an Administrative Support Technician at Calcasieu Parish Police Jury since August 2022, Chelsey has a solid background in customer service and strategic planning. Prior roles include Account Representative at ARS National Services, involvement in strategic planning at Performing Arts Serving Acadiana, and positions as Corporate Trainer and Account Executive at Ready Marketing Group. Additionally, Chelsey managed customer service operations at Walmart. Chelsey holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music Business from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, earned in 2020.

Calcasieu Parish (pronounced CAL-ca-shoo) is located in Southwest Louisiana and has a population of 192,768. The Calcasieu Parish governing body consists of 15 Police Jurors are elected to serve 15 single-member districts covering the entire parish. Two regular meetings are held each month, usually on the first and third Thursdays with a committee night held monthly on the fourth Thursday. The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury’s mission is to consistently and efficiently provide the highest quality of services to the people of Calcasieu Parish in a manner that is responsive to the will and needs of its citizens.
