Kylene Johnson serves as the Engineering Project Manager for Calcasieu Parish Police Jury since February 2013, with responsibilities that include inspecting and rating roadways, managing the parish roadway database, and developing long-range plans for road projects and construction. Additional duties encompass reviewing and approving utility and pipeline permits. Prior to this role, Kylene worked as a Project Manager at Kiewit from May 2012 to December 2012, where responsibilities included subcontractor management, inspection, quantity measurements, invoice preparation, and quality control. Kylene holds a Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering Technology from Louisiana Tech University, earned between 2008 and 2012.

Calcasieu Parish (pronounced CAL-ca-shoo) is located in Southwest Louisiana and has a population of 192,768. Two regular meetings are held each month, usually on the first and third Thursdays with a committee night held monthly on the fourth Thursday.
