Tammy Nation is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in accounting and financial management. Currently serving as a Financial Analyst for the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury since December 2014, Tammy has acquired a strong background in financial reporting and analysis. Previously, Tammy was the Accounting Manager at W.O. Moss Memorial Health Clinics from June 2013 to December 2014, overseeing accounts payables, general ledger, and Federal Grant accounting. Tammy also held the role of Accountant Manager at WO Moss Regional Medical Center from December 2004 to June 2013, where responsibilities included managing revenue and expenditure accounting, assisting patients with Medicaid applications, and handling various aspects of financial operations. Tammy holds two Bachelor of Science degrees from McNeese State University, one in Marketing and Accounting, and another in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services.

Calcasieu Parish (pronounced CAL-ca-shoo) is located in Southwest Louisiana and has a population of 192,768. In the heart of Southwest Louisiana, Calcasieu Parish's rich history, diversified economy, and numerous recreational opportunities, make this area a wonderful place to live, work and visit. The Calcasieu Parish governing body consists of 15 Police Jurors are elected to serve 15 single-member districts covering the entire parish. Two regular meetings are held each month, usually on the first and third Thursdays with a committee night held monthly on the fourth Thursday. The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury’s mission is to consistently and efficiently provide the highest quality of services to the people of Calcasieu Parish in a manner that is responsive to the will and needs of its citizens.
